Every year it seems more and more mountain resorts are opening up their lifts early, but not for runs, for screams! Yes, Halloween has definitely creeped its way into the hearts and souls of the winter enthusiasts, and what better way to make some pre-season cash to fire up the snow guns than to throw a frightful bash at the top of a mountain!
While every experience differs, most resorts offer a ride up to the summit resorts where you will experience either a haunted house, walk-through, or whatever other chilling experience they have planned for you. Afterwards enjoy some food and drinks in the lodge with your friends while you anticipate the upcoming or already arrived snow.
