So its finally 2010, but the ironic part is I don’t yet have my hoverboard like they promised I would have back in 1987. However, it’s ok because this new year brought us some much needed new snow, and with some extra xmas cash lying around I bought myself the Scott Holt Skullycandy helmet to protect whats left of my brain.
Compared to last year, the first half of this season was pretty lame on the East Coast. We did gt a few storms rolling through, but until the 30″ of snow that dumped up in Maine over this weekend, we really didn’t have anything to call epic. That’s all changed, and hopefully it’s a sign of whats to come for the next few months. As always, I got no beef with riding well into April.
If you’re wondering how the backyard boxes are holding up, well.. see for yourself

That’s me practicing my frontside boardslide. Not the best pics, but i love the fresh snow in the trees.
In other news, I’ve managed to hit up the trails multiple times so far. While it’s nothing to write home about, it’s also been a good time to say the least. Kaylee, who’s now almost 8, also got a new board/boots this year and shes been tearing up with me at a local family mountain. Watch out future boarders, another cute and talented female boarder coming your way!
