I recently snagged a new pair of the Spy Soldier Goggles from Whiskey Militia for an insane deal. Although I really didn’t “need” a new pair of goggles considering my Oakley A-Frames are still in great shape, they don’t quite fit right when wearing my Smith Holt helmet. The Spy Soldier goggles aren’t as large as the Oakleys, and the clasps against each side don’t protrude which is what causes the Oakley’s to not want to sit against my face right while wearing a helmet.
They come in a huge array of colors and lenses, the ones I chose are the Blue/Bronze combo that you see above. While I haven’t had the chance to actually test them on the trails yet, they seem to be a great piece of equipment. They have a very solid feel to them, yet the construction is actually quite flexible. Trying them on was even more impressive because they are just so damn comfortable pressed against my face.
Overall they are a great goggle for a great price. The solid & sleek design that Spy has come up with is exactly what I love in a goggle. Not too flashy, but packs tons of style.
