Been a little quiet over the past few days. This is due to a combination of slacking, snowboarding, Mass Effect 2, freelance work and other excuses. However I wanted to share some thoughts I’ve been having regarding the site. I am currently in the beginning stages of redesigning WhoaSnow for a better user experience.
I am a web developer by day and WordPress is my canvas of choice. However, I have yet to fully develop my own theme. Usually I will take a simple theme and completely modify it to be my own. Which in essence, does create my own theme, but in order to really learn the way WordPress works I want to start from scratch.
So what can you expect from the new WhoaSnow? A new design for sure, smaller page width (1200 pixels wide was a bit extreme for those of you still running 1024), and easier readability.
Right now a lot of my thoughts are up in the air, but I have developed some of the design elements. No sneak peeks though! Wouldn’t want to give away the surprise
